Care & Cleaning
Our DawnDogCo harnesses are thoughtfully made with quality materials, a soft air-mesh lining, comfortable neoprene padding, and a beautiful printed finish. With the right care, you can help maintain the fabric’s appearance, comfort, and quality for many walks to come.
How to Care for Your Harness
Gentle hand washing: Wash with cool water and a small amount of mild detergent to clean the fabric while being gentle on the materials.
Care for the print: Gently clean with your hands or a soft cloth, avoiding vigorous scrubbing to help preserve the printed design.
Rinse thoroughly: Use cool, clean water to remove soap residue from the fabric, mesh, and padding.
Air dry naturally: Gently press out excess water with a clean towel and allow the harness to air dry completely in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Keep it looking its best: Clean when needed and allow the harness to dry fully before using it again.
To help preserve the quality of your harness: Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, high heat, ironing, and tumble drying. We recommend hand washing rather than machine washing to help protect the printed finish, fabric, and neoprene padding.
